I was born on September 5, 1966 in Larnaca, Cyprus. I completed my primary school education in Larnaca and Çayırova Primary Schools. I completed my secondary and high school education at Nicosia Turkish Maarif College as a boarder.

In 1990, I graduated from Dokuz Eylül Faculty of Medicine and started Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Izmir Yeşilyurt Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.

In 1995, I started working as an Obstetrician in Şanlıurfa and served there for 20 years.

In 2015, I returned to my hometown Cyprus.
